Workshop on Writing Self-Assessment Reports (SAR) in Accordance with Circular 04/2025/TT-BGDĐT
The Ministry of Education and Training (MOET) has issued Circular No. 04/2025/TT-BGDĐT, which sets forth regulations on the accreditation of undergraduate programs (comprising 8 standards and 52 criteria).

Through the persistent efforts of the institution and the collective dedication of its faculty, staff, and students, HSU has achieved significant milestones in quality assessment and accreditation. Notable accomplishments include the recognition from prestigious organizations such as ACBSP (USA), ASIIN (Germany), AUN-QA (Southeast Asia), FIBAA (Switzerland), NEAS (Australia), and QS Stars (UK).
As part of its ongoing efforts to enhance quality assurance capacity, the Office of Testing – Quality Assurance organized a training workshop on Writing Self-Assessment Reports in Accordance with Circular 04/2025/TT-BGDĐT on the afternoon of April 24th, 2025. The workshop attracted enthusiastic participation from leaders of Faculties, Program Directors, lecturers, and staff from the Human Resources Office, Academic Affairs Office, and the Library, who actively engaged in discussions throughout the session.

Dr. Hồ Thị Mỹ Linh – Acting Head of the Testing – Quality Assurance Office, and Mr. Lê Hữu Sơn, M.A. – Deputy Head of the Testing – Quality Assurance Office, shared their expertise and provided comprehensive and detailed information, focusing on the following key areas:
1. Introduction to the criteria stipulated in Circular 04/2025/TT-BGDĐT.
2. Analysis of the requirements of the criteria stipulated in Circular 04/2025/TT-BGDĐT.
3. Guidelines for preparing the Self-Assessment Report (SAR) to ensure compliance with the criteria.

In the session on writing the Self-Assessment Report, Mr. Lê Hữu Sơn emphasized the importance of the conditional criteria and those related to program learning outcomes assessment. He also clarified the process of preparing the Self-Assessment Report accompanied by a clear and comprehensive collection of supporting evidence, ensuring transparency and completeness throughout the self-assessment process.
In parallel with the presentations and guidance delivered during the sessions, the Office of Testing – Quality Assurance actively listened to, acknowledged, and addressed questions raised by individuals and relevant units concerning the implementation of self-assessment processes and quality assurance system. The Office hopes that the valuable information shared during the workshop will support faculty and staff in effectively carrying out quality assurance activities within their respective units, thereby strengthening the University’s continuous quality improvement efforts — not only in compliance with the standards set by the Ministry of Education and Training but also in alignment with international accreditation frameworks.
