Hoa Sen University launches scientific journal: Affirming prestige according to international standards

To promote scientific research activities, improve training quality and reputation in the region and internationally, on January 16, 2024, Hoa Sen University (HSU) organized the Launching Ceremony of Scientific Journal .

Accordingly, Hoa Sen University Scientific Journal will specialize in publishing articles and research results in 4 fields: Basic science and technology, economic science and law, social sciences and humanities, design and art.

The goal of Hoa Sen University Scientific Journal is to become a forum for exchanging and providing scientific information; bridge the gap between science and practice, exchange experiences and knowledge between lecturers, postgraduates and students, helping young researchers improve their scientific research and publication skills. From there, it serves the teaching, training and scientific research of the University.

The editorial board of Hoa Sen University Scientific Journal was officially launched, including 23 researchers. Among them, there are 6 Professors, 6 Associate Professors and 11 Doctors, who are experts and researchers from 4 focus areas of the Journal.

Speaking at the Launching Ceremony of Scientific Journal, Associate Professor, Dr. Vo Thi Ngoc Thuy – Principal of Hoa Sen University shared: “Although it was born somewhat late compared to the school’s 33 years of development, at present, The potential of Hoa Sen University Scientific Journal is ready. Each of Hoa Sen’s lecturers has been doing a lot of research, some pursuing academic research, some doing applied research. Together with a team of researchers and scientists who are prestigious professors and doctors in and outside country, Hoa Sen University Scientific Journal will make many strides and become a prestigious scientific magazine for lecturers, students, science enthusiasts.”

At the ceremony, Hoa Sen University signed a cooperation agreement with Saigon Businessman Magazine, to widely spread scientific research achievements and results to readers.

With the orientation of being an international university for students in Vietnam and other countries, Hoa Sen University constantly innovates training and promotes scientific research activities for students and lecturers. The launching ceremony of Hoa Sen University’s Scientific Journal is an important event, marking a new turning point in the development of the University in general and scientific research activities in particular, affirming its reputation according to international standards.

Hoa Sen University Scientific Journal will be published every 3 months, in English and Vietnamese. The magazine will be widely distributed to libraries, training and research facilities inside and outside the school.
