FREAKY TALE 2026: Embrace Independence, Create with Confidence
At Hoa Sen University, learning goes beyond the classroom, giving students opportunities to take on real-world projects and turn their ideas into action. FREAKY TALE 2026 is a great example. Organized by B2C (Bound Crushers Dance Company), the art night welcomed more than 400 attendees and celebrated nearly a decade of the club’s journey. From concept to execution, students led every stage, with HSU providing financial and venue support to bring their vision to life.

A Student-Created Night to Remember
What happens when a mysterious village, a strange festival, and a stolen “Magical Mushroom” collide?
FREAKY TALE 2026 turned the Agora Auditorium at Thanh Thai Campus, Hoa Sen University (HSU), into a world of fantasy, music, and dance. The story unfolded through dynamic choreography, expressive acting, music, and interactive moments, building toward an epic battle between B2C (Bound Crushers Dance Company) and the Fawkes Squad dance group as they fought to reclaim the “Magical Mushroom”. Every performance added another layer to the story, keeping the audience engaged from the opening scene to the showdown.
The stage came alive with appearances by Viet Thi, HSU talented singer, the P336 band, DJs Anh Khoa and Phuc Dinh, and vocalists Greenie and Phu Quy, making the event a vibrant celebration of music, movement, and student creativity.

From Creative Vision to Stage Production
Behind every FREAKY TALE performance is a team of B2C members turning ideas into reality. From concept development and scriptwriting to choreography, budgeting, and set and prop design, students gain hands-on experience in managing a creative project from start to finish.
With more than 100 people on the organizing team, including over 50 B2C members, FREAKY TALE came together through weeks of intensive collaboration. In less than a month, the team tackled tight deadlines, worked through disagreements, and transformed an initial idea into a full-scale performance.

University Support, Student-Led Execution
By providing funding and a venue for FREAKY TALE, HSU created the conditions for B2C members to take ownership of their project. Rather than stopping at the planning stage, students had the resources and freedom to develop their ideas, manage the process, and bring their vision to life.
This reflects how HSU empowers students by giving them the resources to take on challenges, find their own solutions, and gain experience through the pursuits they are passionate about.

The value of FREAKY TALE 2026 extends beyond the performances on stage. Furthermore, it gives B2C members the opportunity to pursue their passions, explore different roles, and take responsibility for a shared achievement.
Starting with an idea of their own, they get to experience the entire journey of turning creativity into a real-world event. Every step offers a chance to contribute their strengths, take initiative, and leave their own mark on B2C.

FREAKY TALE 2026 also received support from the Event ON Club and business partners, including Sunsilk, Kollab Photo, LA’BON VIETNAM, Lam Viet Trading, Services and Packaging Printing Limited Liability Company, &Club Photobooth, and DOL English.
