HSU Signs MOU with Nanhua University to Expand International Learning Opportunities
More opportunities for cross-cultural learning and academic collaboration are taking shape as Hoa Sen University (HSU) strengthens its international connections. On October 26, 2026, HSU and Nanhua University in Taiwan signed an MOU, establishing a framework for student and faculty exchanges, experiential learning programs, and scientific research collaboration. This partnership follows a July 2026 study and experiential learning program in Taiwan, where students from HSU’s Faculty of Marketing and Communication had the opportunity to explore Nanhua University’s academic environment.
How Does Studying Abroad Expand Students’ Perspectives?
Experiencing different cultures and academic environments allows students to see the world from new perspectives, exchange knowledge, and strengthen their skills for a global future. At Hoa Sen University (HSU), international collaborations continue to turn these possibilities into meaningful learning experiences.

The connection between HSU and Nanhua University grew from a study and experiential learning program in Taiwan in July 2026, when students from HSU’s Faculty of Marketing and Communication explored the university’s academic environment. The relationship took another step forward with the signing of an MOU on October 26, 2026.
The MOU was signed by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Huu Huy Nhut, President of HSU, and Prof. Dr. Kao Chin-Hsung, President of Nanhua University, marking a new step in the relationship between the two institutions.

Shared Priorities for International Academic Collaboration
Through this partnership, HSU and Nanhua University aim to:
- Expand Student and Faculty Exchanges between the two universities;
- Develop Experiential Learning Programs in Viet Nam and Taiwan; and,
- Strengthen Research and Academic Exchange through collaborative research and knowledge sharing.

Beyond student and faculty exchanges, the partnership is expected to support HSU faculty members in advancing their academic careers. Nanhua University plans to offer several doctoral scholarships, creating further opportunities for advanced study, research, and professional growth.
The collaboration will also extend to international academic exchange through the “2026 International Conference on Management Resilience and Cultural Integration”, co-organized by the two universities in Taiwan on November 26 – 27, 2026. The event will offer a forum for sharing research findings, discussing new ideas, and identifying potential areas for joint research.

At HSU, internationalization means more than establishing partnerships; it means creating opportunities for students and faculty members to explore new academic environments, exchange knowledge, and develop through international experiences. The progression from a student learning trip in July to the MOU signing in October reflects this approach, connecting firsthand learning experiences with broader opportunities for academic collaboration.
