HSU STUDENTS CONNECT WITH LOUIS VUITTON EXPERTS AND EXPLORE CAREER OPPORTUNITIES AT A LEADING GLOBAL LUXURY FASHION HOUSE
On 22 July 2026, the “Louis Vuitton Info Session”, organised by the Institute of International Education and Global Engagement, provided HSU students and DMU-HSU students with the opportunity to engage directly with the Human Resources team of Louis Vuitton Vietnam.
The event not only offered valuable insights into the luxury brand industry but also reflected Hoa Sen University’s commitment to industry-integrated education, enabling students to connect with international businesses and better prepare for careers in a global workplace.
Exploring the world of luxury brands with Louis Vuitton professionals
The workshop featured Ms Huyen Le, HR Director of Louis Vuitton Vietnam and Ms Yen Nhan, Assistant HR Manager at Louis Vuitton Vietnam and an HSU alumnus.
Drawing on their extensive experience in talent management at one of the world’s leading luxury fashion houses, the speakers shared valuable insights into the history and development of Louis Vuitton, the LVMH ecosystem, the characteristics of the luxury industry, international workplace culture, and the qualities and competencies sought in young professionals.
Through these practical discussions, students gained first-hand perspectives from industry practitioners, developing a deeper understanding of the distinctive nature of the luxury sector, global corporate culture, and the mindset, skills and attributes that international employers value in future talent.
The session also encouraged active interaction, with students raising questions about career planning, interview preparation, professional skills, career progression within multinational organisations, and the evolving expectations of today’s global labour market. This lively exchange provided participants with a clearer picture of career pathways within internationally recognised luxury brands.
Louis Vuitton Horizons – A talent development programme for future professionals at a luxury brand
A key highlight of the event was the introduction of Louis Vuitton Horizons, the company’s talent development programme designed for young people aspiring to build a career in the luxury industry.
Hoa Sen University is one of the selected universities chosen by Louis Vuitton to introduce the Horizons programme. Through the session, students gained valuable insights into career pathways, international learning opportunities, and talent development initiatives within one of the world’s most prestigious luxury fashion brands.
