Nearly 40 International Exchange Students From 8 Countries And 4 Continents Choose HSU To Begin Their Exchange Semester Fall 2026
The atmosphere at Hoa Sen University at the start of the new academic year has taken on an even richer dimension with the arrival of nearly 40 international exchange students from more than 8 countries across 4 continents, including Japan, Belgium, France, Germany, Rwanda, Morocco and many others. These new faces bring with them a diversity of perspectives and experiences that contribute to the increasingly vibrant multicultural learning environment at HSU.
This is a tangible demonstration of the international education strategy that Hoa Sen University continues to pursue, a vision in which diversity is not merely respected but recognised as a core resource of a modern and globally integrated academic community.

Orientation Day Fall 2026: A Smooth Start For International Students
On the morning of 11th September 2026, the Orientation Day for International Students – Fall 2026, organised by the Institute of International Education and Global Engagement, Hoa Sen University (HSU-IIE&GE), officially took place, equipping international exchange students with the essential information and tools needed to begin their semester in Vietnam with confidence and clarity.
The programme covered all of the practical content that international students need to navigate from their very first days, including guidance on academic affairs, timetables and campus facilities, as well as step-by-step instructions on setting up student email accounts, accessing the student information system and using the Hoa Sen app. Students were also introduced to the full range of support services and key contacts available to accompany them throughout their time at HSU.
A Message From HSU Leadership
At the event, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Tuan Duc, Vice Rector of Hoa Sen University, emphasised cultural diversity and international integration as core values that HSU has consistently upheld in its journey toward building a modern educational environment. He also encouraged international students to proactively connect with lecturers, support units and the broader student community during their time in Vietnam, in order to make the most of everything the HSU learning environment has to offer.
Every International Student Brings A New Perspective
The presence of nearly 40 international exchange students from 8 countries and 4 continents does not simply enrich the academic atmosphere at HSU. It opens up genuine opportunities for cross-cultural exchange, academic dialogue and mutual learning that very few domestic university environments in Vietnam are able to create.
Each international student who comes to HSU brings with them a perspective shaped by their own cultural background, educational system and social context. When those perspectives converge within a shared learning space, difference is no longer a barrier but becomes a meaningful opportunity for connection and authentic global integration.
