HOA SEN UNIVERSITY SIGNS PARTNERSHIP WITH ANGELO STATE UNIVERSITY (USA), EXPANDING INTERNATIONAL LEARNING OPPORTUNITIES FOR STUDENTS
On 16th June 2026, Hoa Sen University (HSU) officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Angelo State University (ASU), Texas, USA, in collaboration with the Ellacy Foundation. The signing marks another important milestone in HSU’s internationalisation strategy, opening up new opportunities for students to engage in global learning, academic exchange and collaborative research within an internationally connected educational environment.

Expanding International learning opportunities for HSU students
The signing ceremony was attended by members of HSU’s Executive Board, representatives from Angelo State University and delegates from the Ellacy Foundation. The event provided an opportunity for all parties to share their strategic vision, strengthen institutional tiesa nd reaffirm their commitment to advancing educational collaboration between Viet Nam and the United States.
As higher education becomes increasingly shaped by global integration, HSU continues to expand its international partnership network, providing students with diverse and meaningful learning experiences that prepare them for success in an interconnected world.
Through this partnership, Hoa Sen University and Angelo State University will jointly explore and implement a range of collaborative initiatives in education and academia. These include the development of undergraduate and postgraduate partnership programmes, international progression pathways tailored to students’ aspirations, student and academic staff exchange programmes, and collaborative research projects.
These initiatives are expected to provide HSU students with greater access to international learning opportunities while studying in Viet Nam, enabling them to strengthen their academic knowledge, English language proficiency and ability to thrive in multicultural working environments.
Partnering with a leading university in Texas
Angelo State University is a public university in the state of Texas (USA) recognised for its modern learning environment, diverse academic portfolio, and commitment to the holistic development of its students. The University welcomes learners from a wide range of countries and territories, fostering a vibrant and internationally diverse academic community.
The partnership with Angelo State University further demonstrates HSU’s commitment to international development and adds another significant institution to its growing global academic partnership network.
Beyond the opportunities created for students, this collaboration will also enable both universities to exchange expertise in teaching, research, and curriculum development.
