The HSU basketball team performed excellently, achieving Second Place in the National Student Basketball Championship in 2022
After a month of intense competition at the National Student Basketball Championship, our girls achieved Second Place nationwide, and the boys’ team achieved Third Place nationwide. Despite facing several unforeseen challenges that prevented some key members from participating, the Sen ladies demonstrated their courage, determination, and unity.
Although they didn’t reach the top spot, this is still a sweet achievement for the hard work and resilience of the Hoa Sen basketball team!
HSU LEADING THE WAY IN INCORPORATING MANY SEA GAMES SPORTS INTO STUDENT EDUCATION
With the aim of being a dynamic university, Hoa Sen University (HSU) is actively incorporating various modern sports and entertainment disciplines featured in the SEA Games into its curriculum. These include:
HOA SEN UNIVERSITY PIONEERS IN INCORPORATING BASEBALL INTO THE PHYSICAL EDUCATION CURRICULUM FOR STUDENTS
On the afternoon of February 9, 2023, a delegation from the Japan Baseball Association of Universities (JBA) visited and exchanged with HSU students at the Thanh Thai campus, District 10, Ho Chi Minh City.
During the working session, both parties agreed to collaborate on the following specific matters:
1. Collaborate on teaching and developing Baseball for HSU students.
2. Good Job Sports Entertainment Company will support the promotion of Baseball to secondary and high schools through HSU’s expanded network.
3. Enhance Baseball exchange programs between HSU students and universities in Japan. 4. The Japan Baseball Association of Universities (JBA) and the City Baseball Association (HBA) will support the teaching and training of the Baseball Teacher Training Program for HSU.
THE “TOP-NOTCH” GYM FOR HOA SEN UNIVERSITY STUDENTS
Since May 8, 2023, HSU students studying Gym – Fitness in the Physical Education curriculum will have the opportunity to train in a high-class space according to international fitness standards. In addition to accompanying facilities and services, HSU students will also train with a team of highly skilled trainers holding international certifications.
Gym One fitness center is located in the heart of District 3, at the intersection of Dien Bien Phu and Le Quy Don streets, specifically at 26A Le Quy Don, Vo Thi Sau Ward, District 3, Ho Chi Minh City.
