Awareness Internship – Graduation Internship

An internship is one of the important forms of learning, reflecting the educational philosophy of “learning by doing” and emphasizing the integration of learning and practical experience at Hoa Sen University. Since its inception in 1991, Internships have always been top priority training activity and also demonstrate the university’s training advantages.

Internship programs help students accumulate practical experiences, enhance awareness, skills, and work experience, thereby helping students feel confident and ready to enter the job market upon graduation.

An internship is a form of learning through students’ experiences in real working environments at organizations or enterprises for a certain period of time.

Types of internships:

Hoa Sen University organizes 4 internship sessions per year, corresponding to 4 academic semesters per year, according to the schedule of the Training Department. Two Awareness Internship sessions take place during the Tet holiday semester and the Summer semester, where students are required to participate in a 40-hour internship per week for 7 weeks at an enterprise. Two Graduation Internship sessions take place during the main semester, where students are required to participate in an internship at an enterprise as a regular employee, working 40 hours per week for 15 weeks.

Prior to each internship session, lasting 6-7 weeks, the Business Relations department organizes internship activities to share information about regulations, forms, specific timelines, and important notes for participation in the internship. Partner enterprises of the university are also invited for students to choose from for their internship placement.
