International Accreditations and Certifications at Hoa Sen University

Hoa Sen University continually affirms its position with a series of prestigious international accreditations and certifications, ensuring the quality of teaching and training according to global standards:

ASIIN (Germany): Hoa Sen University is the first private university and the second university nationwide to achieve institutional accreditation according to European quality standards (by ASIIN – a highly reputable higher education accreditation organization in Germany and Europe).
NEAS: In 2025, Hoa Sen University became the first and only university in Vietnam to be honored with the NEAS certification (National ELT Accreditation Scheme of Australia) for the General English Program for four consecutive years.
AUN-QA: In 2024, twelve undergraduate and graduate programs of Hoa Sen University were recognized as meeting AUN-QA standards – the quality assurance network of ASEAN universities.
FIBAA: Since 2022, three programs at HSU have been accredited by FIBAA – a non-governmental organization for quality assurance in education based in Switzerland.
ACBSP: Since 2015, HSU has been the FIRST university in Vietnam to be accredited by ACBSP (Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs, USA) with five programs recognized for meeting international education quality standards.
QS Stars: QS World University Rankings is the university ranking system by Quacquarelli Symonds (UK). Since 2021, HSU has been honored with an international QS Stars 4-Star certification at its very first evaluation. In particular, the criteria of Arts & Culture and Student Employability were rated 5 Stars.
MOET: Since 2020, HSU has received the Certificate of Institutional Accreditation for education quality assurance according to the new standards of the Ministry of Education and Training (Viet Nam).

With 34 years of establishment and development, Hoa Sen University has been recognized by prestigious international educational quality assurance organizations such as ASIIN, NEAS, ACBSP, FIBAA, and AUN-QA for meeting global standards. The university offers bilingual programs, with several majors taught entirely in English.

ENTREPRENEURIAL SPIRIT

Students take ownership and lead projects, while the University plays the role of an “investor” through nearly 30 initiatives, numerous competitions, and events. Among these, The Future Chef Contest has set a Vietnam record, Gen Z – The Leading Generation became a reality television program with millions of views, and Fashion Creation has made a strong impression in the fashion industry.

EXPERIENCIAL LEARNING

Training programs at HSU are designed to be practical, highly applicable, and continuously updated with current trends. Students engage in internships, regularly participate in field trips at leading domestic and international enterprises, carry out course projects, and are fully supported in organizing events and programs. 95% of students secure employment immediately upon graduation.

STUDENT EXPERIENCE

At HSU, students gain “real combat” experience by registering to lead and organize course projects, major university initiatives, as well as participating in hundreds of webinars. In addition, more than 30 clubs—from academics to sports, entertainment, and media—together with a wide range of volunteer activities, enrich student life.
