STUDENT SUCCESS CENTER, HSU Tutor recruitment is now calling for candidates who are from Department of English-American Language and Culture, and are competent in using English to effectively write and speak, with meaningful grammar and understandable pronunciation. If you are in your first or second year (students of cohorts 2016 and 2017), and are interested in helping other students succeed in their English language learning, the job is for you.

You’ll do this job well if you can:

• listen actively and effectively to your peers so as to identify and solve their problems;
• facilitate their learning while building up their confidence;
• help/guide other students to fulfill their work;
• understand course materials and tutoring techniques, and be open to new ideas.

Your expertise in pronunciation, parts of speech, subject/verb agreement, and rules for (basic) verb tenses will be an asset to this job.
