Training on integrating ecological lifestyle into the program for students

From October 27 – October 28, 2017, in Da Nang, along with 33 young lecturers from more than 20 universities and organizations across the country, lecturer Le Thi Ngoc Huyen, of the General Education program, at University of Hoa Sen University, met, studied and shared in the training course “Supporting the integration of ecological lifestyle into student programs”.

Through the training, members had an overview of implementation and approaches to integrating ecological lifestyles, they also shared very interesting methods in many forms. different.

In addition, the students were introduced to two effective tools in teaching ecological lifestyle – the fishing game and the ecological footprint calculator.

One of the most important activities of the course is that groups carry out the integrated design of ecological lifestyles based on the data that the group draws with the following contents: Responsible tourism – class lessons; Responsible tourism – practical lessons; Sustainable food consumption; Consume water wisely.

With different experiences and methods, the students have integrated ecological lifestyle into these contents in a very diverse, creative, and flexible way from organizing competitions and field trips. , forms of organizing games to using dialogue and discussion methods in classroom lessons.

Meeting and discussing with sponsor representatives, speakers, and experienced experts also help students gain more knowledge and models to find appropriate methods for the program—your submission.

At the end of the program, each student has their feelings. Most students shared that the methods offered by the Organizing Committee were accessible and, more importantly, they met people with similar goals who were willing to integrate an ecological lifestyle into the program after completing the program. return.
