[OpenTalk 10] The role of psychology in the health care model

Psychology plays an increasingly important role in spiritual life and social development. A typical example is the Integration of Psychology into Healthcare Systems. After the Covid pandemic, the need to integrate psychological services into the health system has become even more urgent as the community has seen the role of mental health in comprehensive health care of humans.

In order to help the community understand the role and benefits of integrating Psychology into Health Systems, the Center for Psychological Research and Consulting and the Department of Psychology, at Hoa Sen University organized OPENTALK 10 – THE ROLE OF PSYCHOLOGY IN THE HEALTH CARE MODEL. The program is organized in conjunction with the Institute of Behavioral Therapy – Germany with support from Saigon Psychub.

The program focuses on introducing the importance of the Mind-Body approach in the health care model, introducing the Multimodal Pain Therapy interdisciplinary care concept, and the role of psychological services in the system. health care, as well as the difficulties and challenges of psychological services in the health care system in Germany and Vietnam.

Speakers of the program include:

Psychologist Alexandra Rohe, psychotherapist at Die Gesellschaft für Verhaltenstherapie (Institute for Behavioral Therapy) in Germany.

Master Steffen Euler, Administrative Director at Martin Luther Hospital – Berlin, Germany.

Dr. Pham Phuong Thao, Vice Chairman of the Department of Health Education and Medical Psychology, Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy.
