Triển lãm VICO MAGISTRETTI (1920 – 2020)

Nhân dịp ngày Thiết kế Italia, 2020 – lần thứ IV kết hợp cùng triển lãm nghệ thuật đương đại của giảng viên, sinh viên khoa Thiết kế và Nghệ thuật trường Đại học Hoa Sen.

Chương trình xúc tiến bởi Bộ ngoại giao và hợp tác quốc tế Italia cùng Fondazione Compasso de O’ro và the Triennale di Milano, được phối hợp thực hiện bởi Lãnh sự quán Ý và Khoa Thiết kế & Nghệ thuật, Phòng Nghiên cứu Khoa học & Hợp tác Quốc tế, Trường Đại học Hoa Sen.

Hội thảo Quốc tế

Kiến trúc sư Từ Phú Đức, Trường Đại học Hoa Sen tham gia bài tham luận với chủ đề Kiến trúc Bền Vững, cùng một số bài tham luận từ Prof. Kiến trúc sư CASAMONTI (Italy),  Đại học quốc gia Hà nội, Đại học RMIT.

Giới thiệu về trưng bày của Ý 

Vico Magistretti là nhà thiết kế nổi tiếng của Ý. Ông giành nhiều giải thưởng quốc tế về kiến trúc, quy hoạch đô thị và thiết kế công nghiệp. Triển lãm ghi lại thành quả 60 năm sự nghiệp của ông, thông qua các bản vẽ thiết kế và hình ảnh. Triển lãm được chia thành ba phần (tiểu sử, kiến trúc, thiết kế) với 30 tấm posters minh họa.

Giới thiệu về trưng bày của Trường Đại học Hoa Sen 

• Video projection mapping installation (Saigon Spectrum) – Quang Phổ Sài Gòn là tác phẩm nghệ thuật sắp đặt đạt giải Nhì trong cuộc thi “Tuổi trẻ và tương lai thành phố’’ do Liên hiệp các hội văn học nghệ thuật TPHCM – Hội Mỹ thuật TPHCM tổ chức. Tác giả của Saigon Spectrum là các sinh viên ngành Thiết kế Đồ họa với sự hướng dẫn của họa sĩ Nguyễn Long, giảng viên Khoa Thiết kế và Nghệ thuật. 
• Tác phẩm sắp đặt – Nghệ thuật tương tác Face Off sử dụng phần mềm nhận dạng khuôn mặt, mô phỏng các công nghệ giám sát toàn diện được sử dụng phổ biến trong các lĩnh vực quen thuộc của đời sống. Tác giả Richard Streitmatter-Tran, giảng viên Khoa Thiết kế và Nghệ thuật đem đến cho khách tham quan trải nghiệm nhìn thấy nguồn dữ liệu video trực tiếp về chính họ đang di chuyển qua phòng trưng bày.
• 3D-printing Sculpture: Điêu khắc kỹ thuật số mô tả phương pháp tạo hình điêu khách trên máy tính và dùng máy in 3D in ra mẫu vật của tác giả Phan Vũ Linh, giảng viên Khoa Thiết kế và Nghệ thuật. Đây là công nghệ hoàn toàn mới, tiên tiến trên thế giới, giúp các nghệ sĩ tạo hình có thể tiết kiệm thời gian và độ chính xác cao. Trường Đại học Hoa Sen tự hào là trường đầu tiên đưa kỹ thuật này vào giảng dạy.

The Italian Design Day is an initiative launched by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, together with the Fondazione Compasso de O’ro và the Triennale di Milano, co-organized by the Consulate General of Italy in Ho Chi Minh City and the Faculty of Design and Art, Office of Research & International Cooperation, Hoa Sen University.

Activities include:

Exhibition: artworks of Vico Magistretti – one of the great masters of Italian design, and those of the Faculty of Design and Art

International conference on Design and Architecture (Tele video conference) – Drawing Future – Development, Innovation, Sustainability, Beauty

Architect Tu Phu Duc from Hoa Sen University will participate in a presentation with the theme of Sustainable Architecture, along with other delegates from Prof. Arch. Marco Casamonti, Ambassador of Italian Design in Vietnam, Hanoi National University, and RMIT University

Exhibition 1920/2020 Vico Magistretti

Vico Magistretti was born in 1920 in Milan, where he carried out his professional activity dealing with architecture, urban planning, industrial design. The furniture, lamps and objects he designed are found all over the world and the most important design museums have dedicated exhibitions to him and welcomed his works in their permanent collections. The exhibition traces, through drawings, plans, photographs, the sixty years of Vico Magistretti’s career: from the most well-known to the lesser-known projects, from architecture to products that have entered thousands of homes around the world.

A paired exhibition of Contemporary Art from Hoa Sen University

Video projection mapping installation (Saigon Spectrum) is an installation artwork that won the Second Prize in the contest “Youth and the future of the city”, organized by the HCMC Union of Literature and Arts Associations – HCMC Fine Arts Associations. The authors of Saigon Spectrum are Graphic Design students under the guidance of painter Nguyen Long, Faculty of Design & Art.

Face Off by Richard Streitmatter-Tran, Faculty of Design & Art utilizes facial recognition software that perpetually scans for faces, emulating the omnipresent surveillance technologies employed by the public and private sectors. A six-screen installation is centered on the wall behind the standing portraits, in which visitors see a live video feed of themselves moving through the gallery.

3D-printing Sculpture: A digital sculpture by Phan Vu Linh, Faculty of Design & Art describes the method of creating a sculpture on a computer and using a 3D printer to print the specimen. This is a completely new and advanced technology in the world, helping the shaping artist to save time and with high accuracy. Hoa Sen University is proud to be the first University to introduce this technology into teaching.
