The cultural journey of Summer Boot Camp 2024 will continue with a new and unique path in Session 3: “A Glimpse into the British Royal Family and Tea Culture.”

The British Royal Family is one of the oldest royal families in the world, with a history spanning over 1,000 years. Starting from the era of King Alfred the Great in the 9th century, this royal family has gone through many ups and downs and continues to reign in England today. The British Royal Family has not only shaped the culture of England over millennia but also played a significant role in the history of the nation and the world.

At this event, we will explore the history of the prestigious British Royal Family and the unique afternoon tea culture of the English. You will have the opportunity to decorate an afternoon tea table yourself. After completing the decoration, you will enjoy tea and pastries together, immersing yourself in the quintessentially “foggy land” atmosphere.

The Summer Boot Camp 2024 is a cultural experience program that provides students with the opportunity to learn more about the countries, people, and cultural activities of the UK and the US. It also helps improve English skills, make new friends, and relax during the summer. The program is organized by lecturers from the English Language Program, Faculty of English Language and International Culture, Hoa Sen University. The program consists of 4 sessions held from August 1 to September 12, on alternate Thursdays.
