CULTURAL EXCHANGE PROGRAM WITH ANJO GAKUEN HIGH SCHOOL (JAPAN)
On the afternoon of March 11, 2025, English Language students from Hoa Sen University (HSU) participated in a cultural exchange program with over 120 students from Anjo Gakuen High School (Aichi, Japan). This educational and practical activity helped students enhance their intercultural communication skills, practice their language abilities, and broaden their understanding of Vietnamese and Japanese cultures.

In the role of tour guides, HSU students welcomed the Japanese student group, organized visits to key sites in District 1, introduced urban life, and shared insights about Saigon’s unique culinary culture. Through these activities, students had the opportunity to apply their classroom knowledge in real-life contexts, developing flexibility and confidence in communication.

One participating student shared:
“The program not only allowed me to practice the language naturally but also provided valuable experiences in an international communication environment. I hope there will be more similar activities in the future.”

This exchange activity reflects HSU’s practical training approach, where students are encouraged not only to acquire knowledge in the classroom but also to experience and develop essential soft skills. The program played an important role in cultivating students’ intercultural communication abilities, helping them adapt and integrate more effectively in a globalized context.
