Chương trình học Tiếng Anh – Kỹ năng lãnh đạo và khởi nghiệp tại Trường Cao đẳng Wollongong, Úc. Sinh viên sẽ được tham gia các lớp học do giáo viên bản xứ giảng dạy, nhận chứng chỉ hoàn thành Khóa học. Đặc biệt sinh viên sẽ được trải nghiệm ở Homestay với người bản xứ trong suốt thời gian học tập tại Úc.

Chương trình TECH 1030 do Bộ Giáo dục và Đào tạo Hoa Kỳ tổ chức. Sinh viên tham dự sẽ nhận được chứng chỉ hoàn thành, và nhận được 3 credit hours tại Regionally Accredited American University.

TECH 1030 – Unmanned Aerial System Design Build and Fly is an applied learning course and students will learn 3D modeling, 3D printing, soldering, forces of flight and other aspects of designing, building, and flying a drone. Students will additionally learn how to plan drone flights and how to fly safely in the National Airspace System (NAS). Completing this course will meet the requirement to pass an aeronautical knowledge and safety test required by title 49 United States Code (U.S.C.) §44809(a)(7) known as Federal Aviation Administration’s (FAA) The Recreational UAS Safety Test (TRUST). Students will also be required to successfully pilot an obstacle course as well as code an autonomous flight of the same course. At the end of this two-week course, each student will leave with their own drone that they have built on sophisticated 3D printers and ready for flight.

Learning Objectives: Explaining the four forces of flight… Discuss the characteristics of roll, pitch and yaw Describe the properties and functions of propellers to include how a change could affect performance Describe and apply basic 3D modeling principles in a common software suite Use 3D slicing software to convert a STL file Describe components of a 3D printer and conduct a print Identify parts and process needed to build a UAS Identify tools and equipment for assembly of a UAS and safely use a soldering iron to solder eyelet and pad connections Define and apply functional testing Describe the testing process and explain why a pre-flight checklist is needed Identify the tools needed to execute a pre-flight checklist Create a pre-flight checklist based on own experience and equipment Execute a pre-flight checklist Conduct a UAS flight Analyze information gathered from a successful or unsuccessful flight Create a post-flight checklist Describe airspace and restrictions Review airspace requirements in FAA Review community based organization safety guidelines Describe remote identification, registration, documentation Describe requesting authorization for controlled airspace Use UAS Facility Maps (UASFMs) Use FAADroneZone Describe how to maintain Visual Line of Sight (VLOS) Conduct practice flights, both piloted and autonomous Experiment with block coding for autonomous flights.
