A dynamic professional arena for nearly 200 aspiring English educators
The Next Educators is a competition organized by English Language Studies students at HSU, designed to offer contestants a practical platform to step into the role of “teacher” through a simulated classroom experience. In 2025, it attracted nearly 200 young English-teaching enthusiasts from 36 universities in Ho Chi Minh City.

After several practical rounds, the eight strongest contestants advanced to the Final Round. In this academic arena, each finalist delivered a 10–12 minute lesson, skillfully integrating storytelling, interactive teaching techniques, and real-time pedagogical problem-solving before the Board of Judges. To make the competition even more realistic, each contestant taught a “simulated class” of eight students, creating a dynamic classroom atmosphere that showcased their teaching ability, creativity, and adaptability in a real-world educational setting.
