Advancing Digital Transformation Through AI: SAWACO and HSU Collaboration

As Artificial Intelligence (AI) continues to reshape industries, it has become one of the key enablers of digital transformation for organizations and businesses. Embracing and integrating AI into operational processes can significantly improve efficiency while unlocking new opportunities to enhance service quality and customer satisfaction.

On June 10, 2026, the Center of Science and Technology Development for Youth, in collaboration with Saigon Water Corporation (SAWACO), held a training session titled “Driving Efficiency in Customer Care and Office Management with AI”, with support from the Institute of Online Learning at Hoa Sen University (HSU).

With extensive experience in training and digital transformation, Mr. Nguyen Huu Phat, Dean of the HSU Institute of Online Learning, inspired participants with practical perspectives on the opportunities AI presents for organizations and individuals. His session highlighted how emerging technologies can be translated into actionable solutions to improve efficiency, service quality, and workplace innovation.

The session welcomed nearly 100 employees and specialists from SAWACO’s departments and affiliated units. This initiative was designed to support staff in developing digital competencies, streamlining work processes, and adapting effectively to the evolving requirements of contemporary organizational operations.

As part of the training program, participants explored four core modules covering key aspects of AI application in professional settings:

1. AI Fundamentals and Professional Digital Communication Skills;
2. Applying AI in Customer Service Operations;
3. Optimizing Processes and Managing Customer Experience; and,
4. Risk Management and Information Security in the AI Era.

Beyond foundational knowledge, the session equipped participants to identify, apply, and maximize AI tools suited to specific job functions. Through practical scenarios and real-life examples, they explored how AI can enhance productivity, strengthen customer interaction, and improve decision-making efficiency.

Guided by the principle “Understand Accurately – Apply Properly”, the training content was developed with a practical orientation, equipping participants to integrate AI into their work safely, effectively, and in accordance with organizational requirements.

Through this initiative, the Institute of Online Learning continues to enhance its role in connecting academic knowledge, technological innovation, and enterprise needs. The session also supports SAWACO’s digital transformation journey, helping develop a workforce that is agile, adaptable, and prepared for the changing demands of the digital economy.
