HSU Students Immerse in High-End Operations at Mia Saigon Luxury Boutique Hotel
The training session moved beyond the classroom into the real operational setting of a high-end hotel. Third-year Hotel Management students at Hoa Sen University immersed themselves in a professional working environment at Mia Saigon Luxury Boutique Hotel, where every detail is precisely standardized and managed.
Insight into system operations through direct observation
Recently, Hotel Management students at Hoa Sen University (HSU) gained experience in a professional hotel environment at Mia Saigon Luxury Boutique Hotel, where operations are carefully standardized.
At Mia Saigon Luxury Boutique Hotel, HSU students analyzed organizational structures through Org Charts, enabling a clear understanding of departmental integration within hotel operations. Operational knowledge, especially in culinary operations, was contextualized through direct engagement with processes and professional roles.

The emphasis is not merely on “knowing”, but on “understanding” how the system functions, how each element connects to create a seamless service experience.
Service-oriented mindset and management challenges in F&B marketing
Moreover, HSU students engaged in group discussions on F&B Marketing, developing and presenting ideas for hotel outlets. The process offered a clearer understanding of how to balance service aesthetics with business efficiency.

Each idea addressed key questions: target customers, experience design, and operational feasibility. Through such activities, HSU students develop managerial thinking during their studies.
Technology – the invisible link in hotel operations
Additionally, HSU students gained valuable insights from the IT department, opening up new perspectives on modern hotel operations. In this setting, they developed a clearer understanding of how technology functions as an integrative system, connecting technical infrastructure and interdepartmental coordination to ensure operational efficiency.
They also recognized that behind every service experience lies a meticulously structured system in which every detail contributes to maintaining quality standards.

Real Setting, Real Experience: Where Knowledge Becomes Experience
The trip extended beyond field-trip activities. Students engaged in observation, questioning, analysis, and problem-solving, applying classroom knowledge within real-world contexts to enhance understanding and knowledge retention.
This strongly reflects HSU’s educational philosophy of integrating real-world exposure into the learning journey, ensuring that each experience contributes to students’ professional preparation.
