Hoa Sen University Announces and Presents Appointment Decisions for Leadership Positions
On June 1, 2026, Hoa Sen University held a ceremony to announce and confer leadership appointments, reinforcing its leadership capacity across multiple academic and administrative units. Leadership Development and Organizational Excellence
On June 1, 2026, Hoa Sen University (HSU) held a ceremony to announce and confer leadership appointments, marking an important step in strengthening leadership capacity across the University.
The appointments covered key positions in academic and administrative units, reflecting HSU’s commitment to enhancing governance quality, operational effectiveness, and institutional development.
Accordingly:
- Mr. Nguyen Huu Phat, MA, was appointed Dean of the Institute of Online Learning;
- Mr. Nguyen Binh Minh was appointed Head of the Office of Facilities Management;
- Ms. Nguyen Thi Tuyet Chi was appointed Chief Accountant and Deputy Head of the Office of Finance and Accounting; and,
- Mr. Chung Vo Phu Cuong was appointed Deputy Head of the Office of Information Technology.


These appointments reflect HSU’s commitment to strengthening leadership capacity and organizational effectiveness, ensuring the University is well-positioned to respond to emerging challenges and opportunities in higher education, particularly in technology, pedagogy, and student engagement.


The ceremony also featured a recognition and congratulatory segment honoring Dr. Tran Thi Cam Tu, Dean of the Institute of International Education and Global Engagement, for her recent doctoral degree.
Completing the doctoral program marks a significant milestone in Dr. Tran Thi Cam Tu’s academic journey. Her achievement also reflects and reinforces the spirit of lifelong learning, as well as the continuous enhancement of professional and research capacity among HSU’s staff and faculty.
Introduction of Faculty Competency Framework and Graduate Competency Development Guidelines
Following the announcement of appointment decisions, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Huu Huy Nhut, HSU President, announced the HSU Faculty Competency Framework and the development plan for the Graduate Competency Framework.
These efforts mark key steps in HSU’s strategy to improve training quality and standardize human resource development.
Specifically, the Faculty Competency Framework emphasizes academic career development, aiming to develop a faculty that harmonizes academic and practical competencies and is capable of supporting students in learning, research, and career development.
Concurrently, the Graduate Competency Framework will serve as the basis for defining the student profile in the new context, with competencies that are clearly defined, measurable, and demonstrable.
