OPEN REGISTRATION APPLICATION – ACCA VIRTUAL FINHACK 2023 Competition – Breakthrough in FINANCE knowledge season 3

ACCA Virtual Finhack 2023 is a financial knowledge competition for ACCA students and university students in Vietnam. The competition is organized by the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), with the support of ACCA’s partner universities nationwide and ACCA’s businesses and partner units: Navigos Group, PwC , Standard Charter Bank, Smart Train, Techcombank and Vietsourcing with the desire to create opportunities for young talents to demonstrate their knowledge in the field of Finance – Business. This is also an opportunity for you to hone your communication skills, teamwork skills, and improve your personal bravery.

The contest consists of 3 rounds:​

ROUND 1: BREAKTHROUGH SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE (December 9, 2023 – January 6, 2024)​

Candidates choose 1 exam according to the appropriate schedule among 5 online exams that will take place every Saturday from December 9, 2023 to January 6, 2024 and will be notified to candidates by the Organizing Committee. Register to participate in the contest.

​Each online exam is expected to last about 45 minutes and includes 20 multiple-choice questions on economic, financial, and accounting knowledge.​

The 60 fastest and most correct answers in the Round 1 online tests will be selected for Round 2.​

ROUND 2: BREAKING OUT REAL SITUATIONS WITH TEAMWORK (January 14, 2024)​

The 60 best candidates from Round 1 will be divided into 20 random teams, each team has 3 members.

Teams will proactively discuss and work together.

The task of each team is to solve a case study and present the solution (online) in front of a jury of ACCA members and colleagues from partner businesses.​

Only the 5 teams with the most impressive presentations will continue into Round 3.

ROUND 3 – FINAL: CONFRONT AND BREAK TO THE FINISH (January 21, 2024)​

Teams will have a channel to meet online, discuss and have group meetings before the competition.

Teams will solve the same case study but will handle different situations and present online in front of a jury of ACCA members.

The two teams with the most convincing presentations will win the First and Second Prizes overall.

In particular, in this season 3, Virtual Finhack 2023 also introduces a completely new activity called ACCA Finhack TikTok Challenge (November 25 – December 29, 2023). Contestants will have the opportunity to freely create videos with the theme “Be You Anywhere”, and upload them to the TikTok platform with the hashtags #BeYouAnywhere and #ACCAFinhack2023.

When participating in this challenge, you will receive 20% ADDITIONAL POINTS FOR ROUND 1 of the ACCA Virtual Finhack 2023 Competition!​
