SRH MOBILE UNIVERSITY: GLOBAL MBA -ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

1. APPLICATION:

Each Applicant must submit the following documentation:

1. First study degree (Bachelor’s degree or comparable) with 240 ECTS (the ECTS from different university-level degrees can be added up); with only 180-239 ECTS, see alternatives below
2. Entrance certificate to university (e.g. High School Diploma)
3. At least 2 years of qualified work experience (proof: e.g. certificate of employment) (see below)
4. English language skills at least on CEFR B2 Level (see below), or written confirmation of sufficient English language skills skills by Hoa Sen University (see below)
5. Curriculum vitae
6. Filled MBA enrollment form (download)
7. Sufficient basic understanding of the subject (completed studies of economics or related subjects; or work experience in management)

Note: All submitted documents must be in English.

As of July, students who accumulated less than 240 ECTS are eligible to apply if they are able to meet these conditions:

• With proof of 210-239 ECTS: the necessary qualification for the chosen study programme may have to be proven in an interview with the respective course director of SRH Mobile University
• With proof of 180-209 ECTS: the necessary qualification for the chosen study programme may have to be proven in a three-part aptitude test (Motivational interview, scientific admission thesis of 15 pages, presentation of the admission thesis followed by a discussion) conducted by SRH Mobile University.

2. ENGLISH REQUIREMENTS

The required knowledge of the English language is verified based on the corresponding criteria, such as:

• Level B2 of the CEFR or equivalent,
• At least 6 months’ stay in an English-speaking country,
• School certificates proving English language courses over a period of at least 5 years until the graduation qualifying for university entrance, whereas the final grade or the average grade of the last two years must be equivalent to at least the German grade 4 (adequate) or 5 points,
• Completed studies with English-speaking language modules equivalent to at least 5 ECTS or
• English as corporate language by certification of the employer,
• Admission interview at Hoa Sen University.

3. CONDITIONS OF THE WORK EXPERIENCE

These are the conditions of the work experience which is required as per German law:

• Any work experience from before, during or after the Bachelor studies
• At least 2 years of full-time (at least 35 hrs per week) work; for half-time jobs, at least 4 years
• Internships with proof of working hours
• Freelance work including professional sports (proof required)
• With at least a very remote relation to the prior degree program regarding its content
