UKA Hue Students Explore a World-Class Learning Environment at HSU
Choosing a major and university becomes much clearer when students can experience the learning environment firsthand. Recently, a group of students from the UK Academy Hue International Bilingual School took part in a Campus Tour at Hoa Sen University, organized by the DMU-HSU Vietnam international partnership program, with the support of multiple faculties and units across the University.
Access to International Training Models in Viet Nam
On April 11, 2026, Hoa Sen University (HSU) warmly welcomed students from UK Academy Hue International Bilingual School (UKA Hue) for a Campus Tour organized under the De Montfort University–Hoa Sen University Vietnam (DMU–HSU) international partnership program, a UK-standard training model that brings global education opportunities closer to students in Viet Nam, with support from multiple faculties and units across the University.
Designed as a hands-on learning experience, the program provided students with a vivid and immersive introduction to the university environment. Throughout the tour, UKA students also explored DMU–HSU in greater depth.
Through insights shared by Dr. Edward Hockings, DMU-HSU Program Director, they gained a deeper understanding of academic pathways, international programs, scholarship opportunities, and a learning approach that fosters critical thinking, initiative, and global integration. Furthermore, engaging with HSU students also gave them a vivid glimpse into university life, helping them imagine their journey ahead more clearly.

Access to Modern Learning and Practical Experience
Beyond receiving information, students actively explored HSU’s modern facilities through firsthand experiences that connected learning with real-world application.
Across a series of experiential activities, they were introduced to diverse academic fields and potential career pathways in vivid and engaging ways:
UKA Hue students explored the art of calligraphy, experienced the learning environments of the Faculty of Languages and Psychology and the Faculty of Technology, tried on legal attire, and engaged directly with lecturers from the Faculty of Law to gain deeper insights into different professions. From the Faculty of Hospitality Management’s training restaurant to the HSU Library, each destination highlighted a dynamic learning environment closely integrated with hands-on application.
These activities helped make the process of choosing a major more intuitive, vivid, and grounded in real-world perspectives.

Access to a Confident and Active University Journey
HSU’s Campus Tour goes beyond campus exploration; it helps students discover themselves, access accurate academic guidance, and build effective learning strategies.
Rooted in a learner-centered philosophy, it empowers students to transform knowledge into real-world opportunities. Via immersing themselves in these hands-on experiences, students steadily build a strong foundation, preparing to confidently step into university and adapt to an increasingly globalized environment.
