TVCreate: Solving Real Business Challenges
Entering its 16th season, TVCreate continued to affirm its position as a signature academic competition within the Faculty of Marketing and Communication at Hoa Sen University (HSU). The competition was planned and organized by HSU students under the guidance of faculty members, providing valuable hands-on experience in project management and event organization.
This year’s competition attracted 40 teams from leading universities across Viet Nam, including HSU, Foreign Trade University (FTU), University of Economics and Law (UEL), University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH), RMIT University Vietnam, National Economics University (NEU), Thang Long University, and many other higher education institutions.

Going beyond the format of a conventional marketing competition, TVCreate challenged participants to navigate the complete journey of an Integrated Marketing Communications (IMC) campaign. From conducting market research and developing strategic plans to creating campaign concepts, producing TV commercials, and pitching to the judging panel of industry experts, students experienced the realities of professional marketing practice.

Addressing the Business Challenge from Panasonic Electric Works Vietnam
Drawing on a real business case from Panasonic Electric Works Vietnam, TVCreate 2026 challenged students to design a six-month IMC campaign with a total budget of VN$5 billion. The campaign centered on TV commercials as the key communication platform, showcasing how electrical solutions help ensure safety and protection in modern homes.

Beyond creating an advertising video, the competition required students to design a full communication strategy aligned with the company’s business objectives, ensuring both feasibility and effectiveness.
Over four rounds, teams moved through the entire process, from market research and insight discovery to strategy building, creative execution, TV commercial production, and the Final Round.
