Announcement of Leadership and Management Appointment Decisions at Hoa Sen University

On the morning of November 3, 2025, Hoa Sen University (HSU) held a formal ceremony to announce and present the Appointment Announcement for Leadership and Management Positions.

HSU’s New Leadership Appointments

The ceremony was attended by Mr. Hoang Quoc Viet, Chairman of the HSU Advisory Board; Prof. Truong Nguyen Thanh, Vice Chairman of the HSU Advisory Board; along with members of the University Council, the University Board of Rectors, and faculty representatives.

The event marked a significant milestone for HSU, affirming its commitment to stronger governance, higher training quality, and deeper international integration.

At the event, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Huu Huy Nhut was officially appointed Vice President. With nearly 30 years of experience in teaching, research, and higher education administration, he is recognized as a respected educational leader.

He holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City. In 2015, he was accredited by the State Council for Professorship as meeting the criteria for the title of Associate Professor of Economics. In 2017, he was appointed by the Ministry of Home Affairs of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam to the rank of Senior Lecturer.

Throughout his career, he has held numerous leadership roles at reputable institutions, making significant contributions to training quality, scientific research, and faculty development. His roles include

Vice President of the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH), Director of Human Resources at Nguyen Hoang Group, Vice President of Hong Bang International University, Member of the Institutional Professorship Council of UEH (2016 – 2019), and Vice Chairman of the Institutional Professorship Council of BaRia-VungTau University (2021).

He earned his PhD in Economics from the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City and was later accredited by the State Council for Professorship as meeting the criteria for the title of Associate Professor in Economics. In 2017, he was appointed by the Ministry of Home Affairs of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam to the rank of Senior Lecturer.

Announcement of University-Level Management Appointment Decisions

HSU also announced and presented appointment decisions for management positions, including:

1. Dr. Ho Thi My Linh, Director of the Institute of International Education and Global Engagement;
2. Dr. Nguyen Tuan Duong, Head of the Office of Research Affairs – Science Journal;
3. Dr. Nguyen Hoai Nam, Acting Dean of the Faculty of Law;
4. Dr. Nguyen Chi Duy Khuong, Acting Dean of the Faculty of Languages and Psychology;
5. MSc. Le Au Ngan Anh, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Hospitality;
6. MA. Truong Quang Vinh, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Marketing – Communication;
7. MA. Nguyen Thi Anh Thu, Vice Director of the Center for Student Experience and Corporate Relations; and,
8. Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hieu, Vice Director of the Center for Student Experience and Corporate Relations.

Furthermore, the Appointment Decisions ceremony also acknowledged and celebrated two newly conferred PhDs:

1. Dr. Tran Linh Dang, Program Director of Financial Technology; and,
2. Dr. Do Thi Thanh Thuy, Lecturer of the General Education Department.
