Tà Xùa Mùa Xanh – AI Empowering Sustainable Tourism
Representing Hoa Sen University (HSU), students Trinh Gia Phuoc, Media Production and Management student, and Mr. Pham Tuan Khanh, English Language Studies student, brought to Tech4Green Season 2 their innovative project “Tà Xùa Mùa Xanh”, a bold attempt to reshape tourism in Tà Xùa (Sơn La) by addressing two urgent local challenges: booking scams and environmental awareness among tourists and locals.

Built on a versatile website platform, their project combined AI technology with contributions from the local community, offering solutions such as:
- Anti-fraud solutions: The website operated as a booking platform in which local authorities validated all accommodations and services;
- Environmental protection solutions: Using Sky Quest, the project gamified travel activities, rewarding tourists for “eco-friendly actions” with points redeemable for vouchers and gifts.
Furthermore, the project included several outstanding features, such as:
- Providing a Safety Center: Updating users on natural disasters and potential obstacles, while offering appropriate response guidelines;
- Creating a Digital Exhibition Space: Introducing Tà Xùa’s culture, cuisine, and people through interactive videos, with plans to integrate AI-generated imagery and software to produce music inspired by highland sounds.
Journey to Tech4Green Season 2 First Runner-Up
During the Final Round, their project received valuable insights and development guidance from the Jury and representatives of leading enterprises and educational institutions. Some even expressed their willingness to accompany the team in turning the project into reality soon.

“We believe this model has real potential to be implemented in practice and to create meaningful, long-term value for the community. I hope to bring this project back to HSU, gather a team to refine the plan, and collaborate with investors to bring it into reality. That vision has fueled my determination over the past four months”
Mr. Trinh Gia Phuoc, Media Production and Management student, emphasized.
From Idea to Action – Where HSU Students Bring Creativity to Life
For the ViViet team, winning the national First Runner-up title marked a powerful launchpad that elevated their project to a new stage of development. Moreover, Gia Phuoc mentioned that this award was his personal “KPI” that motivated him to build an inter-university student community dedicated to researching and developing AI-driven initiatives for green and sustainable development.

After the competition, he revealed his plan to launch a multidisciplinary club linking Economics, Communication, and Technology, an environment where students could learn, explore, and apply AI in their academic pursuits.
Tech4Green Challenge Season 2, under the theme “Smart Governance & Sustainable Development: Bản Bẹ – Tà Xùa, Viet Nam”, offers an academic playground for youth driven by technology, creativity, and sustainability. Through the competition, they have collaborated to solve real highland challenges by applying AI to develop practical, community-oriented solutions that embody the principle of “technology shaped by intellect and compassion.”
