HSU and NEAS Continue to Affirm International Standards in General English Program Quality
On June 16, 2026, Hoa Sen University welcomed representatives from NEAS, together with university leaders and the Institute of English and International Integration, for the NEAS Quality Endorsement 2026 session. The event marked an important milestone for HSU to reflect on its continuous improvement journey and reaffirm its dedication to providing high-quality English language education aligned with international standards.
Driving Excellence in English Language Education
On June 16, 2026, Hoa Sen University (HSU) held the NEAS Quality Endorsement 2026 session, bringing together Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Tuan Duc, HSU Vice President; Mrs. To Thi Anh Nguyen, Head of the Office of Quality Assurance; Dr. Tran Quang Hai, Dean of the Institute of English and International Integration; staff of the Institute; and Mr. Richard Stevenson, Manager of Quality Assurance and Professional Development at NEAS.
Taking place at the Nguyen Van Trang Campus, the event featured in-depth discussions on quality assurance and academic development, as well as a tour of HSU’s learning and teaching facilities. As part of the discussion, representatives from HSU and NEAS exchanged insights on quality assurance practices, ongoing improvements to the General English Program, and plans for academic development.
Furthermore, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Tuan Duc outlined the long-term vision for the Institute of English and International Integration.
The Institute of English and International Integration is established based on a general English program, to improve the quality of foreign language training, meet the requirements of integration, and develop global competencies for learners.
Representatives from the Institute of English and International Integration highlighted the Institute’s growth and achievements over the past year while sharing its vision for future development. Additionally, discussions explored ways to strengthen educational quality, enrich student learning experiences, and enhance teaching effectiveness to meet the changing needs of today’s learners.
Recognition of HSU’s Continuous Quality Enhancement Efforts by NEAS
At the meeting, Mr. Richard Stevenson commended HSU for the notable improvements made to its General English Program in recent times. He also welcomed the establishment of the Institute of English and International Integration, recognizing it as a key step in HSU’s ongoing efforts to strengthen foreign language education quality.
Additionally, NEAS particularly recognized several practical improvements implemented by the Institute, which produced tangible outcomes in training quality and learner support. The organization further assessed that many of the models and solutions currently applied at HSU could serve as valuable reference practices for training institutions in other countries.
