HSU Graduation Ceremony 2026: Nearly 1,500 New Graduates Carry Forward The Spirit of Lifelong Learning
On January 18, 2026, Hoa Sen University (HSU) solemnly organized the 2026 Graduation Ceremony, honoring 1,464 students from diverse training programs. The ceremony marked the completion of their undergraduate journey while opening a new chapter in which our graduates move forward equipped with a strong foundation for lifelong learning, adaptability, and an open-minded spirit cultivated throughout their time at HSU.
Training Quality Validated Through Measurable Outcomes
In the context of accelerating reform in higher education, the 2026 HSU Graduation Ceremony showcased more than academic achievement, as demonstrated through strong academic outcomes and labor market readiness.
This year, 43% of graduates earned Distinction and High Distinction, reflecting a solid academic foundation and consistent investment throughout their studies.

According to a survey by the Center for Student Experience and Corporate Relations, 96% of graduates were employed before receiving their degrees, marking a 1% increase from the 2025 survey. Particularly, several programs achieved a 100% employment rate, notably Software Engineering, International Law, Hotel Management – Hoa Sen Elite Program, Psychology, and Interior Design.

The 2026 Graduation Ceremony also marked the first graduating class from the E-commerce, International Law, and Economic Law programs, disciplines that have recorded a high rate of graduates securing employment immediately after graduation.

The quality of HSU’s training outcomes was further reflected in the income levels of recent graduates. According to statistics, 45% of graduates earned between VN$ 9 – 12 million per month, 25% earned VN$ 12 – 15 million, and 9% earned over VN$ 20 million per month at the start of their careers.
These figures demonstrate the tangible value that HSU’s training programs bring to learners as they enter the labor market.
HSU’s Message on Lifelong Learning and Social Responsibility
Presenting at the ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Huu Huy Nhut, Vice President of HSU, commented:
Today marks a truly special moment for HSU, and especially for the 1,464 new graduates gathered here, who have completed a meaningful chapter of their youth and now step forward as new graduates.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Huu Huy Nhut emphasized that the global context the new graduates were preparing to enter was changing rapidly, with technology evolving daily and professions constantly being redefined:
“What you know today may need to be relearned many times in the future. That is why, beyond a bachelor’s degree, the most valuable thing we hope you take with you today is the mindset of lifelong learning, an openness to change, and the confidence to shape your own life”.

Additionally, he noted that the educational journey at HSU extended beyond academic training, nurturing students’ capacity for lifelong learning, confidence in their choices, and a strong commitment to contributing positively to society.

He also noted: “When success is measured solely by income or title, it is fragile. But when it is built upon professional competence, a professional attitude, and a spirit of service to the community, it becomes a success of depth and lasting significance. For this reason, we hope that you will grow into individuals who are trusted in your work, respected in your relationships, and responsible in your contributions to society”.
Graduate Perspectives on Life Readiness
During the ceremony, HSU honored the University Valedictorian and 56 Valedictorians and Salutatorians across academic programs. Particularly, Mr. Huynh Gia Huy, University Valedictorian in Logistics and Supply Chain Management and working at Transimex Corporation, was awarded a 70% scholarship for a Master’s program at the HSU Institute of Graduate Studies and Leadership.

Sharing at the ceremony, Mr. Huynh Gia Huy humbly regarded himself first and foremost as a new graduate. He reflected that being announced valedictorian was not merely a recognition of academic achievement but a reminder of personal accountability, self-awareness, and the commitment to stand firmly behind one’s chosen path.

Looking back on a university journey that started during a time of profound transition, Gia Huy believed that the most meaningful value HSU had provided was the strength to persevere, a strong sense of integrity, and the constant encouragement of lecturers, peers, and family.

The ceremony concluded with a Final Talk by the University and program Valedictorians, along with the traditional oath-taking and gratitude ceremony honoring parents and lecturers, ceremonial elements that have become “unique features” of HSU’s graduation ceremonies.

In 2026, HSU continues to demonstrate our pioneering spirit as the first university in Viet Nam to introduce personalized graduation stoles in the distinctive colors of our eight faculties, honoring each student’s individuality and journey of growth.
The HSU Graduation Ceremony 2026 concludes with a shared belief that every graduate is prepared to embark on a new journey, equipped with strong professional skills, an integrated mindset, and a distinct personal character. In an era of rising expectations for higher education’s practical value, our outcomes and graduate stories reflect a sustainable approach to quality, measured by future readiness and meaningful contributions to society.
