HSU Partners with Four Businesses and Associations to Expand Experiential Learning for Business Students
What happens when the classroom meets the real world? For first-year students of the Faculty of Business at Hoa Sen University (HSU), the answer begins with new connections.
As part of Orientation Day, the Faculty of Business strengthened its industry and professional network by signing MOUs with four partners: TNTALENT Human Resource Management JSC, Funding Societies Vietnam Company Limited, AP Saigon Petro JSC, and Electronics Information and Communication Association of Ho Chi Minh City.
Through these partnerships, HSU aims to create more opportunities for students to connect with businesses and professional organizations, gain practical experience, and explore career pathways beyond the classroom.
From Classroom Connections to Business Partnerships
Recently, Orientation Day for first-year students of the Faculty of Business at Hoa Sen University (HSU) marked a new step in strengthening connections between the University, businesses, and students. Held at Agora Auditorium, Thanh Thai Campus, the event featured the signing of Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs) between HSU and four businesses and professional associations: TNTalent Human Resource Management JSC, Funding Societies Vietnam Co., Ltd., AP Saigon Petro JSC, and the Ho Chi Minh City Association of Electronics and Communications.
These partnerships give students more opportunities to connect their learning with the professional world and prepare for their future careers. Beyond internships and employment, HSU’s partners can support training programs, scholarships, sponsorships, competition mentorship, and hands-on experiences, giving students more opportunities to learn, connect, and gain firsthand exposure to the workplace.
For the Faculty of Business, learning does not stop at what students acquire in the classroom. By connecting with businesses from an early stage, students can explore real-world expectations, discover the skills needed in the workplace, and better understand how their studies relate to future career opportunities. For the 2026 cohort, these industry connections begin from their first days at HSU, offering an early glimpse into the professional world beyond campus.

Sharing at the program, Ms. Nguyen Thi Xuan Hoa, Head of Human Resources at AP Saigon Petro JSC, highlighted the value of a learning environment that encouraged students to learn through experience, step beyond their comfort zones, and take the initiative in their own development.
“You are learning in a wonderful environment where you can explore, put your knowledge into practice, gain real-world experience, and connect with businesses. These hands-on experiences are truly valuable”, she commented.
From her recruitment expertise, she encouraged first-year students to take the initiative, get involved in projects and clubs, and embrace opportunities to gain hands-on experience throughout their university years. These experiences could help students discover their strengths, develop essential skills, and build a stronger foundation for their future career paths.
Therefore, experiential learning is not limited to what happens in the classroom. It continues through every opportunity students have to connect with businesses, gain practical experience, and build their skills throughout their university years.
