HSU Expands Global Engagement Opportunities and Integration Skills for Students
On May 15, 2026, the Institute of English and International Integration (iEII) at Hoa Sen University welcomed a high-level delegation from ETS and IIG Viet Nam for a working session focused on enhancing students’ English proficiency and essential competencies amid globalization and digital transformation.
Promoting Access to International English Standards for Students
On May 15, 2026, Hoa Sen University (HSU) collaborated with ETS and IIG Viet Nam to advance English proficiency and international integration skills.
Participants from HSU included Dr. Tran Quang Hai, Dean of the Institute of English and International Integration, and Mr. La Hoang Lam, Associate Dean of the Institute of English and International Integration.
Additionally, IIG Viet Nam was represented by Mr. Ta Dinh Viet Anh, Deputy Manager of the Global Programs Department, and Mr. Nguyen Manh Hoa, Deputy Manager of the Business Development Department.
Representing ETS were Mr. Sidnei Rodrigues de Souza, Executive Director of Global Partnerships and Sales Management, and Mr. Nguyen Dang Viet Chuong, Channel Management Director – Southeast Asia.
The meeting discussed international-standard English proficiency development and training orientations that support students in building learning capacity, adaptability, and integration skills alongside a strong foreign language foundation.
During the meeting, Mr. Sidnei Rodrigues de Souza emphasized: “With HSU’s dynamic academic foundation, the TOEFL iBT supports students in evaluating their English proficiency, shaping suitable development pathways, and preparing for future academic and professional goals”.
Continuing the orientation toward international integration, Dr. Tran Quang Hai affirmed that cooperation with ETS and IIG Viet Nam not only enhanced students’ access to internationally recognized English assessment standards but also supported the development of adaptability, integration mindsets, and readiness for international learning and working environments among HSU students.
Through strategic collaborations with international educational and assessment organizations, HSU continues to reinforce its commitment to globally oriented education, enabling students to develop professional expertise, foreign language proficiency, and global citizenship skills comprehensively.
The meeting also represented a new milestone in the partnership among the parties, paving the way for more academic opportunities, competency assessments, and international development prospects for HSU students.
