HSU Students Advance to the National Finals of the “Knowledge Ignition Arena”
A proud milestone for HSU students: Two students from Hoa Sen University earned Second Prize and were selected among the five representatives of Ho Chi Minh City to advance to the national finals of the “Knowledge Ignition Arena” under the “Honda Young Mode 2026” program.
Held on September 20, 2026, the program attracted approximately 600 students from universities, colleges, vocational schools, and high schools across Ho Chi Minh City. The competition was jointly organized by the Ministry of Education and Training, the Ministry of Public Security, and Honda Vietnam Company Ltd.
Two HSU Students Advancing to the National Finals
On September 20, 2026, the Honda Young Mode 2026 program was held in Ho Chi Minh City under the joint organization of the Ministry of Education and Training, the Ministry of Public Security, and Honda Vietnam Company Ltd.
The “Đấu trường truyền lửa tri thức” (Suggested translation: Knowledge Ignition Arena) put participants’ knowledge and thinking skills to the test through questions spanning public order and traffic safety laws, culture and society, logical thinking, innovation, information technology, science and technology, environmental protection, and Artificial Intelligence.
Two Hoa Sen University (HSU) students, Huynh Nguyen Tien Dat, a second-year Event Management student, and Le Truong Dang Khoa, a second-year Law student, were among the five representatives from Ho Chi Minh City to advance to the National Finals and earn the joint Second Prize. Their achievement highlights their proactive learning journey and willingness to challenge themselves in a knowledge-based competition for young people.
After three rounds, the five top contestants earned the chance to represent Ho Chi Minh City at the National Finals in Hanoi, where they will compete alongside outstanding contestants from across the country.
Turning Classroom Knowledge into Real-World Experience
The “Knowledge Ignition Arena” creates an engaging platform for students to apply their knowledge, critical thinking, and quick responses to questions across a wide range of fields.
For Tien Dat and Dang Khoa, advancing to the National Finals became a learning journey beyond the classroom. Through each round, they challenged themselves, expanded their experience, and gained a deeper understanding of how they could apply their knowledge in a competitive setting. Such experiences support HSU’s practice-oriented approach to learning, giving students opportunities to connect classroom knowledge with real-world applications and identify areas for further growth.
The journey continues in Hanoi, where Tien Dat and Dang Khoa will represent Ho Chi Minh City at the National Finals alongside outstanding contestants from across the country. For the two HSU students, the upcoming round will be more than another competition.
