Empowering Educators: Strengthening Sustainable Education in the AI Era

In an educational landscape constantly reshaped by technology and AI, quality education begins with people. As new curricula and digital tools continue to transform how we teach and learn, educators remain at the heart of the learning experience. They support learners, inspire growth, and help unlock their potential.
This spirit was reflected in the iEII Academic Orientation 2026 – 2027, organized by the Institute of English and International Integration, Hoa Sen University, on September 9, 2026. Beyond updates on curriculum, teaching methods, assessment, and quality assurance, the program gave faculty a space to connect, exchange knowledge, and strengthen their professional development.

Strengthening Teachers’ Capacity for AI-Era Education

On September 9, 2026, the Institute of English and International Integration (iEII), Hoa Sen University (HSU), organized iEII Academic Orientation 2026 – 2027, featuring the topic “Teacher Well-Being and Stress Management in the Age of AI: Strategies for Sustainable English Language Teaching”.

Mr. David G. Dillin, Education and Public Speaking/Debate Expert, CEO of The Social Dynamic Vietnam, and Founder of Kunsthaus Tacheles (Berlin), explored practical approaches to managing stress, maintaining mental well-being, and strengthening career adaptability as AI continues to reshape education.

He noted that the changes brought about by AI also required educators to rethink how they organized learning activities. As technology became increasingly capable of delivering information and generating content, learners increasingly needed to develop uniquely human competencies, including critical thinking, creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving.

He further emphasized that the role of an educator went beyond simply imparting knowledge. Educators needed to continually update their approaches to designing learning activities and assessment methods, while creating spaces where learners could truly brainstorm, discuss, present, and apply their knowledge to real-world situations.

Strengthening Faculty Capacity and Learner Experience

Sustainable education begins with educators who are given opportunities to learn, connect, and grow over the long term. With strong professional expertise, positive mental well-being, and the adaptability to navigate technological change, educators are better positioned to support learners and help them thrive in an evolving educational landscape.
