“Convo Mode: On” Inspires HSU Students to Communicate with Confidence
On May 29, 2026, the workshop “Convo Mode: On”, organized by the Institute of English and International Integration at Hoa Sen University, offered students an immersive English-speaking environment where they could actively practice, interact, and build confidence through real-world communication experiences with international coach Irene Quoico.
More than just a language-learning workshop, the program empowered students to strengthen their communication confidence, develop a compelling personal presence, and enhance their ability to connect and engage effectively in multicultural academic and professional environments.
Turning Practice into Confidence
On May 29, 2026, students at Hoa Sen University (HSU) participated in the workshop “Convo Mode: On”, organized by the Institute of English and International Integration (iEII), engaging in a dynamic learning experience that enhanced their communication confidence and practical English-speaking skills.
The workshop featured Ms. Irene Quoico, Communication Coach for the Top 30 contestants in Miss Universe Vietnam, who helps participants develop communication skills, stage presence, and confidence in body language. She is also recognized as an international coaching expert holding an internationally accredited ICF Coach certification and a Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) Master Facilitator certification.
The workshop created a vibrant space where students could put their communication skills into practice rather than learn about them. Through real-life scenarios and interactive challenges, participants gained the confidence to speak up, engage with others, and navigate conversations more naturally in English.

Voice and Body Language as Tools of Communication Power
During the workshop, the esteemed speaker focused on the use of voice and body language to enhance communication effectiveness. Under her guidance, students explored practical techniques to control their voice, expressions, and overall presence, enabling them to deliver messages with greater confidence and impact.
Furthermore, the one-on-one Live Coaching session allowed students to engage directly with the speaker and receive personalized feedback. Through this experience, participants gained clearer insights into their strengths, identified areas for improvement, and further developed their communication skills.
