On September 9, 2026, Hoa Sen University (HSU) signed a Memorandum of Understanding with United Kingdom Academy Company Limited (UKA) and International School Development and Investment Company Limited (iSchool), expanding learning pathways, hands-on experiences, and growth opportunities for both students and faculty.
Integrated Academic Pathways: A Launchpad for Higher Education
On September 9, 2026, Hoa Sen University (HSU) signed a Memorandum of Understanding with United Kingdom Academy Company Limited (UKA) and International School Development and Investment Company Limited (iSchool), strengthening connections between secondary and higher education.
The partnership aims to create a more seamless educational journey by preparing learners early for future transitions and expanding opportunities for continued learning and development. Through the collaboration, HSU, UKA, and iSchool will work together on curriculum alignment, career orientation, experiential learning, faculty development, and international programs, creating broader pathways for learners to explore their academic and career futures.
Furthermore, the partnership provides Grade 11 and 12 students in the UKA and iSchool systems with access to the HSU Foundation Program. The program offers university-level courses in English, Information Technology, Entrepreneurship Projects, National Defense Education, and Physical Education, delivered alongside the schools’ existing curricula.
In addition, the collaboration will expand international cooperation and orientation opportunities through programs such as Franchise and Pathway, while enabling the recognition of credits for courses that meet mutually agreed standards. These opportunities will give students greater flexibility in shaping their academic pathways and preparing for higher education both in Viet Nam and internationally.
Experiential Learning and Early Industry Exposure
Beyond the classroom activities, UKA and iSchool students will have opportunities to explore career paths and experience university life firsthand through HSU-organized field trips, early university experiences, workshops, practical projects, and academic competitions.
Particularly, the Mentor Program will open another pathway from learning to the world of work, bringing students together with faculty members, entrepreneurs, industry experts, alumni, and business partners. By learning from their experiences and engaging with real-world perspectives, students will gain a deeper understanding of professional expectations, discover the skills they need to develop, and begin shaping meaningful career directions.
Moreover, UKA and iSchool will coordinate in monitoring, advising, and supporting students from Grade 10 through their transition to HSU, building a long-term development pathway that connects primary education with higher education.
Broadening international experiences and global learning spaces
The collaboration creates new opportunities for students and educators to connect, exchange, and learn across cultures. Through initiatives such as Summer Camps, Winter Camps, Student Exchanges, Global Classrooms, International Weeks, and other multicultural exchange activities, students can engage with international peers and experience diverse learning environments.
Through these experiences, learners can step beyond the classroom, connect with international peers, gain new perspectives, and strengthen their adaptability in an increasingly interconnected learning environment.
Nurturing Staff and Enhancing Educational Quality
The MOU extends beyond student development to strengthen the professional growth of educators, administrators, and staff, recognizing their essential role in shaping meaningful learning experiences. Therefore, HSU, UKA, and iSchool will collaborate on training courses, workshops, and seminars covering modern teaching methods, educational innovation, and the application of technology in education.
Additionally, Faculty development programs will further support professional growth, leadership development, and educational management while fostering a culture of collaboration and knowledge sharing.
Broadening Learning Opportunities and Strengthening Future Pathways
Strengthening access to higher education is another key focus of the collaboration. HSU will provide scholarship opportunities, tuition incentives, and financial support for UKA and iSchool students who register and enroll at HSU. Under the MOU, students enrolling in Formal and Elite programs will receive a 50% discount on first-year tuition fees, while those in the 100% International program will receive a 30% discount on first-year tuition fees, together with other support policies in accordance with HSU’s regulations.
The MOU between HSU, UKA, and iSchool marks a step toward building a comprehensive educational ecosystem that accompanies learners from preschool to postgraduate education.
Through specific programs and initiatives, the three institutions aim to nurture learners’ abilities, develop their thinking skills, and foster a lasting spirit of lifelong learning. More than connecting educational levels, the cooperation creates opportunities for learners to discover, experience, and grow through each stage of their journey.
