HSU Advances Research and International Publishing in Logistics and International Trade
Meaningful research begins with the right questions, a clear understanding of emerging trends, and connections with the wider academic community. As international collaboration continues to shape the research landscape, faculty members, researchers, and students need to identify relevant research directions and explore opportunities to share their findings with the world. In response to this need, the Faculty of Logistics and International Trade at Hoa Sen University, in collaboration with the HSU Institute for Scientific Measurement and Research Policy (SARAP), is organizing a specialized scientific conference on research and international publishing in Logistics and International Trade.
Global Research Trends and Academic Networking
Bringing together academic perspectives from different institutions, Hoa Sen University (HSU) hosted a scientific conference on research and international publishing in Logistics and International Trade on October 9, 2026. The event was co-organized by HSU’s Faculty of Logistics and International Trade and the Institute for Scientometrics and Research Administration Policies (SARAP).
During the conference, Dr. Le Van Ut, HSU Vice President and Dean of the SARAP Institute, discussed scientific research activities and international publishing strategies, highlighting opportunities to strengthen research capacity and expand engagement with the global academic community.

From emerging research trends to topics gaining international academic attention, the conference explored new directions in Logistics and International Trade, including opportunities for interdisciplinary research. By examining these developments, participants gained broader perspectives, refined their research interests, and discovered connections between different fields of knowledge.
Beyond emerging research trends, the conference explored research collaboration networks and scientific publishing patterns worldwide, nationally, and across Vietnamese higher education institutions. This multi-level perspective helped participants better understand the broader research context, recognize potential research opportunities, and plan their academic activities with greater direction.
The Ongoing Development of HSU’s Research Capabilities
Identifying timely and relevant research topics is an important step toward advancing knowledge in Logistics and International Trade. This process requires faculty members, researchers, and students to follow emerging trends, draw on international academic resources, and recognize opportunities for further inquiry and scholarly exchange.
Bringing research experience and global publishing perspectives into one discussion, the conference created opportunities for participants to exchange ideas, explore emerging research directions, and deepen their understanding of the scientific publishing landscape in Viet Nam and internationally. These exchanges also encouraged broader interdisciplinary thinking and helped participants consider new ways to develop their research interests.

Through this collaboration, the Faculty of Logistics and International Trade and the SARAP Institute reaffirm HSU’s commitment to fostering a vibrant research environment, strengthening academic networks, and empowering faculty members and students to pursue research opportunities and connect with the global academic community.
