4,500 Youth Union Officials and Members Receive Practical AI Training Through HSU Collaboration

As digital transformation accelerates across various sectors, technological skills and AI application capabilities are becoming essential competencies for young people. Recently, the Faculty of Technology at Hoa Sen University further demonstrated its commitment to community development by participating in the training program “Enhancing Digital Capabilities and Applying AI for Youth Union Members and Young People”, organized by the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Science and Technology in collaboration with the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union.

HSU’s involvement in practical training for 4,500 participants

On May 5, 2026, the opening ceremony and first class of the program were organized at the Saigon Innovation Hub (SIHUB), with the attendance of representatives from training institutions, technology experts, and Youth Union officials throughout the city. Representing Hoa Sen University (HSU) at the event was Dr. Le Dinh Phong, Dean of the Faculty of Technology.

Within this training course, HSU served as one of the commissioned institutions responsible for training and developing approximately 4,500 trainees, including Youth Union officials, members, and young people from 168 wards, communes, special zones, and affiliated units in residential areas, schools, and the armed forces.

The program was distinguished by its practical training orientation, with content tailored to the operational needs of Youth Union activities and movements in Ho Chi Minh City, enabling participants to apply what they learn in real-world contexts quickly.

During the sessions, instructors emphasized hands-on professional scenarios, digital skill development, and accessible, flexible approaches to AI that are relevant to modern workplaces.

Integrating AI into community activities

Beyond delivering technological knowledge, the program aimed to shape a core workforce equipped to disseminate digital skills across local communities and workplaces.

From assisting organizational tasks and communication to managing data and developing community-focused initiatives, AI has become an increasingly practical tool for young people.

Through the training, participants experienced practical and selective application of AI in their daily work, aligned with the requirements of each field.
