Welcoming New International Student Maxim: DMU-HSU Vietnam Becomes a Home for Students from Around the World

DMU-HSU Vietnam is delighted to welcome New International Student Maxim, a new student in the Graphic Design program from Russia, who has officially joined the academic community of the program in the new academic year.

Maxim’s arrival at DMU-HSU Vietnam is one more testament to what the program is building every single day: a genuinely multicultural international student community at DMU-HSU Vietnam, where young people from diverse countries come together to pursue an Honours Bachelor’s Degree meeting UK standards right here in Ho Chi Minh City.

When Maxim brings the perspective and cultural identity shaped by his background in Russia into the Graphic Design classroom at DMU-HSU Vietnam, every session becomes a genuinely multidimensional creative space. The Graphic Design program at DMU-HSU Vietnam is grounded in the creative educational philosophy of De Montfort University, where the rigour of original UK artistic thinking is seamlessly integrated with high levels of practical application within real market contexts.

Through the Live Project model, students are directly involved in developing visual concepts, brand identity systems and creative projects alongside leading businesses and agencies throughout the course of their studies. In a classroom that brings together students from Russia, the United Kingdom, the United States, Canada, Cambodia and Vietnam, the design work produced is not only visually compelling but carries genuine cultural depth and truly global thinking.
