100% of Information Technology students have jobs in the right major right after graduation
In the context of strong digital transformation, the Information Technology industry is increasingly playing a key role in socio-economic development, providing countless career development opportunities for young people. At Hoa Sen University, the Information Technology major stands out with a training program that meets AUN-QA (Southeast Asia) standards, focusing on practice and close association with businesses, which is a launching pad for students to confidently work at domestic and foreign technology corporations.
The training program devotes more than 60% of the time to the actual project
According to Dr. Le Dinh Phong, Dean of the Faculty of Information Technology at Hoa Sen University (HSU), the Information Technology training program was built based on the actual requirements of businesses and strictly accredited by AUN-QA (a set of standards issued by the Network of Southeast Asian Universities). Notably, more than 60% of the learning time is spent on applied projects; as a result, students are directly involved in designing and implementing technology solutions under the guidance of lecturers and professional advisors.

Students can choose to specialize in areas such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Cybersecurity, or study multidisciplinary integration to adapt to rapid changes in technology. The modern computer room system is constantly updated with software and hardware to help students practice the latest platforms, such as generative AI, IoT, cloud computing, etc.
In addition, the University also applies a small-scale classroom model, where each student has their own academic advisor to orient the appropriate learning and career development pathway. At the same time, it supports scholarship policies, psychological counseling, and career guidance to help students feel secure in developing their capacity.

The training program also focuses on equipping students with soft skills such as communication, presentation, teamwork, critical thinking, and lifelong self-learning. Graduates could build and implement practical technology solutions, apply new technologies, and ensure professional ethical qualities.
In addition, students can also participate in many experiential activities, such as Company Tour, Mobile App Challenge, HSU Programming Challenge, etc., with the companionship of technology “giants” such as Amazon and Samsung. Research projects and specialized clubs such as Hoa Sen Gaming, Runway, or FlyBug are an environment for students to practice leadership skills, creative thinking, and expand professional connections.
Network of more than 1,000 partners, cooperating with large technology corporations
Graduating from Information Technology, students can take on the positions of programmers, systems engineers, data analysts, information technology project managers, etc. Dr. Dinh Phong said: “Thanks to the network of more than 1,000 partner businesses, nearly 95% of IT students have jobs in the right major right after graduation”. (Results of the employment survey of IT graduates in 2025).

Through two cognitive and graduation internships, students are familiar with the real environment and can score points with employers early. The Faculty’s strategic cooperation unit includes many large technology corporations, such as AWS, Gameloft, TMA Solutions, Harvey Nash, BOSCH, DXC Technology, FPT, KMS, VNG, etc., providing employment opportunities as well as top-quality experience spaces for students.

Seven years ago, among many public and private universities, Nguyen Minh Doan, Class of ‘18 Alumnus, currently an international student in Canada, persuaded his family to study IT at Hoa Sen University. Offering a “podium-free” learning environment, the teaching staff are always ready to support students in to development.
At HSU, I participated in many extracurricular activities and specialized competitions to practice soft skills. At that time, I felt that the tuition fee at Hoa Sen University was completely worth what I received. If I had to choose again, I would still choose HSU. It’s a place that has not only helped me strengthen my expertise but also shaped me with invaluable experiences.

In the future, the Faculty of Information Technology aims to strengthen international cooperation, expand student exchange programs, organize seminars with leading experts, as well as invest in building high-tech labs and creative spaces for students.
