HSU MARKETING – COMMUNICATION STUDENTS COMPLETE TAIWAN FIELD STUDY PROGRAM, GAINING GLOBAL PERSPECTIVES THROUGH INDUSTRY AND INTERNATIONAL EDUCATION
The 2026 Taiwan Field Study Program provided students from the Faculty of Marketing – Communication at Hoa Sen University with valuable opportunities to experience international education, engage with leading enterprises, and broaden their global perspectives through experiential learning.
Learning Beyond the Classroom
From 19–25 July 2026, students from the Faculty of Marketing – Communication participated in the Taiwan Field Study Program, designed to bridge academic learning with real-world professional practice.

Rather than being a conventional study tour, the program immersed students in universities, multinational corporations, technology ecosystems, and cultural institutions, allowing them to develop both professional competencies and intercultural awareness.

Experiencing International Higher Education at Nanhua University
At Nanhua University, students joined orientation sessions, academic exchanges, workshops, and team-building activities with Taiwanese students. These experiences enhanced cross-cultural communication, teamwork, and global learning while exposing participants to an international university environment.

Learning from Leading Global Enterprises
Students also visited Uni-President Enterprises, Taiwan’s largest food corporation and one of Asia’s leading business groups, where they explored corporate management, branding strategies, innovation, supply chain management, and sustainable business practices.

The delegation further visited Central Taiwan Science Park (CTSP), gaining insights into Taiwan’s advanced technology ecosystem, including semiconductor manufacturing, artificial intelligence, smart manufacturing, and innovation-driven industries.

Cultural Immersion at Fo Guang Shan
An unforgettable highlight of the program was the visit to Fo Guang Shan, one of Taiwan’s largest Buddhist organizations.

Through Nanhua University’s partnership with Fo Guang Shan, HSU students were warmly welcomed by Buddhist monastics and granted access to areas rarely open to regular visitors. The visit offered valuable lessons on humanistic Buddhism, sustainability, community service, and holistic education.
Preparing Global-Ready Graduates
The Taiwan Field Study Program reflects Hoa Sen University’s commitment to experiential learning, international collaboration, and industry engagement.
Beginning in 2026, the program has been integrated into the Work Experience Internship course, enabling students to transform international experiences into structured academic learning and professional development.
By connecting students with universities, multinational enterprises, and international organizations, the Faculty of Marketing – Communication continues to prepare graduates who are creative, adaptable, and ready to thrive in an increasingly globalized Marketing and Communication industry.
