OPENTALK 06: PSYCHOLOGY – THE SCHOOL OF SOCIAL CHANGE

On Sunday morning, May 5, 2019, the Department of Psychology – at Hoa Sen University organized a discussion: “Opentalk 06: Psychology – Social Change” attracting more than 120 attendees including students, parents, professionals, and people who love psychology. The discussion brought extremely rich perspectives on the applications of Psychology in social activities through the perspectives of experts.

Master Nguyen Hong An presented very practical applications of psychology in changing people’s daily habits and interesting applications of psychology in policy making.
Master Pham Do Nam presented very meaningful personal experiences about becoming a “supporter”.

Master Doan Bao Chau brings a new breeze with the role of psychology in the activities of the Room to Read organization.
Meanwhile, Master Phan Ngoc Thanh Tra presented in great detail the psychological expertise activities of Worldwide Orphans.

The discussion ended with an extremely rich question-and-answer session with very detailed and meaningful information about the industry’s direction.
With the success of the seminar, the Department of Psychology – Hoa Sen University is committed to continuing to bring quality, scientific, applicable, and extremely interesting psychology programs to the community.

Center for Psychological Research and Consulting – Hoa Sen University was established in 2014. This is one of the first specialized centers of universities in the city. Ho Chi Minh aims to take care of the mental health of students and the community through many different psychological services.
The Department of Psychology – Hoa Sen University  is currently training two majors: Counseling – Therapy and Vocational Counseling, focusing on students’ professional and scientific abilities as well as international integration.
