LAW STUDENTS OF HOA SEN UNIVERSITY TRAINING AT THE PEOPLE’S COURT OF DISTRICT 5, CITY. HO CHI MINH

It aims to create conditions for Law students of Hoa Sen University to have the opportunity to approach the practical environment of trial activities. On June 23, 2023 afternoon, the Faculty of Social Sciences and Law organized an internship program at the People’s Court of District 5, City. HCM for more than 50 students.

After visiting the courtroom, Law Students had an exchange with leaders of the People’s Court of District 5. Opening the meeting, Ms. Do Thi Ngoc Bich – Deputy Chief Judge of the People’s Court of District 5, Ho Chi Minh City; Ms. Le Linh Suong, junior judge, introduced an overview of the model and type of operations of the People’s Court of Vietnam in general and the People’s Court of District 5 in particular. In addition, students are also provided with information on how to apply for the People’s Court; requirements and standards of judicial positions: clerks, judges, and judges’ ranks; several specific jobs as well as the skills and knowledge that need to be equipped to be able to meet the tasks at the Court. In particular, during the exchange, Ms. Do Thi Ngoc Bich – Deputy Chief Justice of District 5 People’s Court of Ho Chi Minh City answered many questions from students about the issues, work content of the Court, and conditions to become a lawyer. intern at the Court. At the same time, the students shared about the career path and difficulties in the process of working with the Court of Deputy Chief Justice Do Thi Ngoc Bich, so that the students could better understand the personality of Deputy Chief Justice Do Thi Ngoc Bich. the quality of work and the difficulties faced if students wish to enter the Court industry after graduation.

These activities always receive attention from the Board of Directors and leaders of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Law and the enthusiastic participation of students. Thereby, it can be seen that the Law training program of Hoa Sen University not only focuses on theoretical teaching in the classroom but also emphasizes practical activities to help students have the opportunity to practice. knowledge and soft skills necessary to improve oneself as well as promptly meet practical tasks after graduation.
