The discussion took place with presentations. about the School Counseling Model in the United States by Dr. Paul Jantz, a Fulbright scholar at Texas State University. In addition, the discussion was also warmed up by sharing from 8 school counselors (TVHD) from school and university psychology consulting rooms in Ho Chi Minh City. In the exchange content, school TV experts stated some of the current main difficulties in the current field such as lack of industry codes, lack of investment in resources, incomplete models, and lack of connectivity and cooperation channels. interdisciplinary. The school counselors also emphasized and proposed directions for future cooperation and development. Representatives of the Department of Psychology and the Center for Psychological Research & Consulting – Hoa Sen University also pledged to be ready to support connections and provide professional advice to school counseling departments at high schools.

More specifically, the discussion also had the attendance and observations of several experts and nearly 40 students from the Psychology major of Hoa Sen University. This is an opportunity that BM Psychology gives students to better understand the reality of the profession as well as have more determination to build this field professionally and scientifically in the future.

Center for Psychological Research and Consulting – Hoa Sen University was established in 2014. This is one of the first specialized centers of universities in the city. Ho Chi Minh aims to take care of the mental health of students and the community through many different psychological services.
The Department of Psychology – at Hoa Sen University is currently training two majors: Counseling – Therapy and Vocational Counseling, focusing on students’ professional and scientific abilities as well as international integration.
