The 5th Vietnam Book & Reading Culture Day and Vietnam – China Literary Exchange 2026
This April 2026, Hoa Sen University presents a series of events titled “The 5th Vietnam Book & Reading Culture Day and Vietnam-China Literary Exchange 2026”, creating a space for knowledge sharing, cultural exploration, and multi-dimensional academic connection.
The events feature diverse activities, from exhibitions and literary exchanges to in-depth workshops, contributing to the promotion of reading culture and offering new perspectives on literature in the context of global integration.
Exhibition “Sách và tri thức”: Inspiring learning
Created for readers and lifelong learners, the exhibition space provides daily inspiration through books. Visitors are invited to explore valuable works and reflect on how knowledge drives both personal growth and societal progress.

Vietnam-China Literary Exchange 2026 Opening: Where Languages Connect and Perspectives Expand
The highlight of the series is the opening ceremony, a space where Vietnamese-Chinese literary exchange comes to life, revealing the dynamic interplay between cultural expression and academic depth.
The program features a range of interesting activities:
- Traditional art performances;
- Book donation to Hoa Sen University;
- Announcement of the second season of the Vietnamese-Chinese Literary Translation Competition; and,
- Workshop: “Vietnamese–Chinese Literary Translation: Challenges, Transformation, and Cultural Dialogue”.
Through the workshop, participants will listen to Dr. Ho Minh Quang share practical insights into translating literature across language barriers, while gaining a deeper appreciation of translation as a bridge between two cultures.
