Startup Training Course: Financial Analysis and Management
In the entrepreneurial journey, many projects fail not due to weak ideas or inferior products, but because of insufficient financial management capabilities. Rising revenue accompanied by unstable cash flow, or reported profits despite operational difficulties, are among the common challenges faced by today’s startups.
To equip the startup community with practical knowledge, Saigon Innovation Hub (SIHUB), in collaboration with Hoa Sen University (HSU), is organizing the “Startup Training Course: Financial Analysis and Management”. The course offers practical insights into financial management, business model development, and sustainable growth strategies for startups.
The course is led by two seasoned experts with extensive experience in finance and investment:
Mr. Nguyen Anh Toan, M.A., is an economist and finance lecturer with over 15 years of experience at investment funds and multinational banks, bringing academic insight and practical expertise
Mr. Chau Minh Thien is a strategic finance expert with 15 years of experience in finance, investment, and M&A, currently serving as CFO of Vietnam America Schools (VASchools) and CEO of INNOHUB Company Limited.
By participating in the program, students will:
- Develop financial literacy in entrepreneurial contexts;
- Establish effective business models;
- Understand cost management and break-even analysis;
- Master cash flow management and financial performance indicators;
- Gain knowledge of business valuation and fundraising approaches; and,
- Enhance pitching skills in front of investors.
This program is open to founders, business owners, startup teams, students, and anyone interested in exploring entrepreneurship.
