Metaphorical Storytelling in Commercial Film: A Study of “Meet Me at the Eclipse”
Are art and commerce separate worlds, or can they blend to create meaningful, resonant storytelling for audiences? This topic will be discussed in the talk show “The Cinematic Language of Metaphor in Commercial Film: Meet Me at the Eclipse”, organized by the Faculty of Design and Arts.
Designed as a platform for exchange and discussion, the talk show helps participants deepen their understanding of how commercial films communicate artistic ideas through visual storytelling, cinematic language, and creative thinking.
Featuring seasoned guests from film and fashion:
- Mr. Le Thien Vien, Film Director;
- Mr. Ly Minh Thang, Producer; and,
- Mr. Le Thanh Hoa, Designer and HSU Lecturer – Host
From a professional industry perspective, distinguished speakers will explore the creative process, the balance between artistic and commercial elements, and practical experiences in production.
Through this talk show, participants will:
