Meet the HSU Students Competing in New Generation Students 2026
On October 4, 2026, HSU students will take the stage at the Southern Region Preliminary Round of New Generation Students 2026, ready to share their creativity, ideas, and youthful energy. The competition is organized by Vietnam Television’s Culture and Entertainment Department (VTV3), in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and Training and universities nationwide.
The event also brings the HSU community together to encourage the team, celebrate student initiative, and follow their journey in the competition.
Bringing Traditional Stories to the New Generation
Drawing inspiration from Phú Hòa Đông, a traditional rice paper-making village in Cu Chi, Ho Chi Minh City, the project seeks to preserve the values of traditional craftsmanship while opening up new ways for younger generations to connect with its heritage and stories. Through the message “HSU lửa bánh bền lâu – đậm sâu làng nghề!”, the students bring a fresh Gen Z perspective to the village’s heritage, using creativity and new ideas to bring the story of traditional craftsmanship closer to the wider community.
The team brings together 11 students from Psychology, Software Engineering, Economic Law, Public Relations, and International Business programs, including:
