Collaborate and Inspire: Interior Design Ideas with BLUM Vietnam
HSU’s Interior Design Major, in partnership with BLUM Vietnam Co., Ltd, hosts a mini-talk exploring: “The Hidden Beauty of Interior Mechanisms”.
More than a typical sharing session, this event allows students to shine, showcase their innovative ideas, and connect with businesses shaping the interior design accessories industry.
In interior design, beauty is not just in materials or color; it is in the hidden mechanisms that make a space functional, smooth, and emotionally engaging.
From hinges and sliding rails to lifting mechanisms and smart accessory systems, these subtle details reveal the true sophistication of engineering, design thinking, and user experience. This also defines the central theme of this year’s workshop, exploring the beauty of interior design through the depth of its structure and functionality.
Keynote speaking opportunity for HSU students
Bridging academic and professional worlds, the talk spotlights the Student Keynote Presentation, where students showcase their research, ideas, and creative perspectives on the workshop theme.
Selected presentations will be featured in the official program, alongside insights from BLUM Vietnam’s industry experts. This event allows students to sharpen their professional and critical thinking skills while presenting in a real-world, industry-linked environment.
Furthermore, businesses will offer feedback and reward outstanding presentations.
Industry-connected academic experiences
As part of an ongoing collaboration between HSU’s Interior Design Major and BLUM Vietnam, this workshop builds on years of joint activities, from interactive workshops and showroom tours to practical product demonstrations and industry insights, giving students direct exposure to modern furniture accessory technology and real-world industry practices.
In addition, the workshop will feature the MOU signing ceremony between HSU and BLUM Vietnam, alongside the announcement of the 2026 funding appendix for the major’s academic activities. This milestone further strengthens the partnership between the university and industry, while opening up expanded opportunities for learning, hands-on experience, and professional development for students.

- Brief introduction: Provide your full name, student ID, and portfolio link or personal profile (if available);
- Idea sketching (pitching): Share your thoughts on the presentation topic, your personal perspective, and the message you want to convey;
