Hoa Sen University Half Marathon 2026: Celebrating 35 Years of Courage to Create
In celebration of its 35th anniversary, Hoa Sen University (HSU) launches the “35 Years of Hoa Sen – Courage to Create” running race as a highlight activity connecting the HSU community in a major sports festival.
The event welcomes faculty, staff, students, alumni, and running enthusiasts to join, improve their fitness, and share a positive spirit.
Healthy lifestyle promotion and community connection
More than a sporting event, the race builds sustainable exercise habits, strengthens health, and connects generations of HSU students with the sports-loving community in Ho Chi Minh City and beyond.
PARTICIPATION MODALITY
This year, the Organizing Committee is enhancing the event through an offline competition format, providing participants with a more professional, interactive, and connected experience.
Beyond competition, the race contributes to building sustainable exercise habits, improving community health, and connecting sports enthusiasts in Ho Chi Minh City and neighboring areas.
Target Participants
– HSU students and alumni;
– HSU staff and employees;
– Students from schools within Cluster No. 13; and,
– Partners and members of the running community who meet the age and health requirements set by the Organizing Committee
Note:
Participants bear full responsibility for their health throughout the competition. Those with a history of cardiovascular or respiratory conditions are advised to carefully consider their participation before registering.

– 3.5 km: For students and pupils
– 12.8 km: Open to the running community
– 21.1 km Half Marathon: Half-marathon distance with a Sprint prize at the 19.91 km mark
