Graffiti Design Contest for Barson at Le Méridien Saigon
Le Méridien Saigon, a five-star hotel under Marriott International, has officially collaborated with HSU on a special student-focused project: Designing graffiti wall art concepts for BARSON, the upscale bar at Le Méridien Saigon.
INTEGRATION OF ARTWORK INTO AN INTERNATIONAL FIVE-STAR HOTEL ENVIRONMENT
The project aims to bridge global design excellence with the creative flow of Viet Nam’s young generation, highlighting the fusion of local identity and contemporary design.
Through graffiti, students can showcase their unique perspectives on the city, capturing Saigon’s urban energy and vibrant rhythm within a premium, internationally operated space.

From this inspiration, each artwork should go beyond personal expression to embody the essence of Saigon, translating it into a modern, emotionally resonant visual language with strong applicability in hospitality environments.
AWARDS
– 01 Grand Prize:
- Artwork produced and displayed at the BARSON Wall by the hotel team;
- VN$ 10,000,000 cash prize and commemorative plaque;
- One dinner at Michelin one-star Akuna restaurant; and,
- One complimentary drink per day at BARSON during the exhibition period.
– 01 Best Creativity Award:
- VN$ 6,000,000 cash prize and commemorative plaque; and,
- Voucher for a culinary experience at the hotel.
– 01 Best Online Voting Award:
- VN$ 4,000,000 cash prize and commemorative plaque; and,
- Voucher for a culinary experience at the hotel.

ORIENTATION SESSION WITH LE MÉRIDIEN SAIGON REPRESENTATIVES
To help students gain a clearer understanding of the creative requirements, evaluation criteria, and the project spirit, representatives from the Le Méridien Saigon Hotel Management Board will hold a direct sharing session with HSU students. This is an opportunity for students to access real business perspectives and strengthen their preparation for the competition.
